The Weekend to End Women’s Cancers benefiting the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, is a Weekend to remember those lives we have lost to breast or gynaecologic cancer and a Weekend to celebrate the lives being saved.
Hunger For Dance is proud to be a part of this amazing and significant event, with the HFD Rep Team performing as a part of the event entertainment on the weekend of March 1st at Fritsch Holzer Park, Hawthorn.
The team are excited and working hard! We encourage all students and families to attend and get behind both the event and the Rep Teams first live performance.
Participating teams of The Weekend will walk 60kms through some of the most beautiful and interesting areas of Melbourne over two days (camping overnight) to raise both awareness and funds for the cause
Proceeds from The Weekend providing vital funding to research and clinical care at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to cancer, and home to Australia’s largest cancer research group.
