Competitions

At HFD if students would like to extend themselves, or simply gain more confidence and stage time – competitions are available.
Every year auditions are held for our Squad team that competes at various competitions throughout the year.
We also have soloists, duo and trio competitors.
At HFD we are not focused on winning, but driven more by students personal achievements and gains. Through competitions, not only do students become more confident, they gain stage experience, able to work on critiques from an adjudicator, make new friends and meet lots of other like minded kids that love performing!!
Competitions are open to all ages and students at HFD that do a minimum of 2 classes (for a nice strong foundation and the ability to retain choreography).
